Rules

The Sampsoid Oval League is all about respect and community. This league is for iRacing asphalt oval drivers of all levels, with a focus on clean racing and a friendly, helpful atmosphere.

Driver Audio Chat Rules
1. No arguing!
2. No vulgar language!
3. No bullying or insulting!
4. Mistakes happen. Take a breath and discuss it after the race.
5. Use the Sampsoid Discord’s Oval League – Drivers Only audio channel for all race communication.

Race Rules
1. Follow the iRacing sporting code at all times.
2. Race your fellow drivers cleanly and with respect.
3. Never intentionally wreck another driver.
4. Respect all race control flags. Black flags will not be cleared.
5. Lapped cars must yield and give room to lead-lap cars.
6. Grid up promptly, as we all want to get started.
7. We use the NASCAR restart zone for starts and restarts. On tracks where this zone is not available, we start on the green flag at the start of the race, and the leader chooses when to go on subsequent restarts using the designated restart zones.
8. No excessive weaving or brake checking on pace laps.
9. During super speedway racing, Drivers may not pass below the double yellow lines or use the apron. If done the driver must give the position back.

Incidents
1. Hold your brakes if you crash or lose control.
2. When a yellow flag waves, slow down gradually and don’t brake abruptly unless the incident is right in front of you.
